BOBC Visits Macclesfield’s Breast Screening Unit Ahead of 2026 Fundraising Ball
Earlier this week, we were delighted to visit East Cheshire NHS Charity and spend time with the dedicated team in the Breast Screening Department at New Alderley House, part of Macclesfield District General Hospital.
Debbie, our founder, met with clinicians and support staff to understand more about the services they provide, the challenges they face, and the difference that new diagnostic equipment can make for patients across the region. These conversations are at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that every pound raised directly supports those who need it most.
During the visit, we were proud to confirm that all proceeds from the 2026 Boot Out Breast Cancer Ball will be donated to the Breast Screening Unit at Macclesfield District General Hospital and Leeds NHS Teaching Hospital. Both teams play a vital role in early detection and patient care, and we’re honoured to support their work.
While planning for the ball was part of the day, the highlight was meeting the incredible staff who show such compassion, skill and commitment every single day. Their insights reinforced why funding high-quality diagnostic equipment is so essential, it speeds up diagnosis, improves accuracy, and ultimately saves lives.
The 2026 Boot Out Breast Cancer Ball will take place on Saturday 7th March 2026 at the stunning Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, Manchester, it will help support two outstanding NHS breast units in delivering the very best care.

A Midsummer Night's Dream Ball 2026
We are delighted to announce the details of our 2026 Boot Out Breast Cancer Ball, this year, guests will step into an enchanting Midsummer Night’s Dream–themed evening, filled with magic, entertainment, and purpose.
We’re thrilled to confirm our generous event sponsors, Perspective Financial Planning, whose support helps bring this unforgettable evening to life. Due to overwhelming demand, all sponsor tables have now sold out, and we have already received an exceptional number of advance reservations.
Guests who have submitted reservation requests will receive priority notifications shortly, giving them the first opportunity to secure their table before general sales open.
We’re excited to once again collaborate with Executive Chef Paul Beckley and Milestone Wines UK, ensuring a beautifully curated dining and wine experience for all guests.
The evening will be hosted by Sky Sports presenter Hugh Ferris, bringing his signature energy and warmth to the stage. Live music will be provided by Kevin Simm, lead vocalist of Wet Wet Wet and winner of The Voice UK 2016, promising a spectacular performance.
Guests will also enjoy mesmerising entertainment from Carmina Entertainment, with world-class sound and production delivered by our trusted partners at The Aventive Group.
