Boot Out Breast Cancer’s latest donation to provide 100 mastectomy bra kits to Bolton Hospital
What a wonderful morning as the Boot Out Breast Cancer team met at the Bury & Rochdale Breast Screening Services team in Bolton Hospital to celebrate our latest donation to provide 100 mastectomy bra kits to their department!
The bra kits were created by Womanzone and purchased by BOBC and contain a soft yet supportive bra, and super soft pads which are fitted specifically to the ladies size and shape.
There is also a versatile drawstring bag which can be used for drains or to store your kit in neatly. These kits are suitable for the majority of ladies who have undergone a mastectomy and can now be given to those who need them.
We feel this is the first of many donations we will be making to Bolton Breast Cancer unit and we are so proud to be able to help.
Being able to help in ways like this is all thanks to YOU, the public, for helping and supporting us in our fundraising. As always, every penny raised goes to the cause, we are 100% volunteers and we do what we do because we love it and want to make a difference.
