Launch of Boot Out Breast Cancer Cycling Club

Podium Ambition was set up by Dame Sarah Storey and Barney Storey in 2013, with the initial aim of creating a professional women’s cycling team. With this becoming a reality in 2016, the next stage was to create a club that anyone could join, of any age or ambition, but with the common ground of a love of cycling. The Club will be named after Podium Ambition’s charity partner, Boot Out Breast Cancer, and in creating the BOBC Cycling Club we hope to further raise awareness of the charity and its work. The sister team to the pro team will help continue the development of women’s cyclists through the Podium Ambition Scholarship programme.

However of equal importance will be the chance for everyone to be involved in, and feel a part of the whole Podium Ambition family, from the pro’s down to the youngsters starting out. On November 25th Dame Sarah launched individual and corporate memberships for the BOBC Cycling club, and hopes to create a truly inspiring opportunity for all cycling enthusiasts to become involved with the team and the charity. As a member, you will gain access to events, discounts on cycles and other merchandise, promotions and track days, as well as the opportunity to race, get tips from and truly feel a part of the whole organisation.

Further info about 2016 opportunities should be directed to teamstoreysport@hotmail.co.uk or via www.podiumambition.com
