New Surgical Head Torches purchased for Bolton Breast Unit

Boot Out Breast Cancer purchased two Xenosys L2S15 Surgical head torches and headbands for the surgeons at the Bolton NHS Breast Unit at a cost of £4,915.

These head torches offer a completely portable lightweight solution. With this headlight, awkward light cables and large and bulky lightsources are a thing of the past. The L2S15 headlight provides perfectly even and bright lighting across the surgical field, and can easily be mounted to almost all loupes available on the market, and with a small belt mounted battery pack you are free to easily move around the operating theatre.

"We have multiple theatres and surgeons operating at the same time, having them available for each surgeon will be very beneficial."

The money for this latest purchase was kindly donated by Sahil Enterprises and the House of Raja’s after a fabulous night of dancing, celebration, and worship at the Sharad Purnima Garba on the 8th October 2022.

It was an incredible night full of dancing, great food and spectacular entertainment, organised to perfection by Pravin Arjan and Sital Raja-Arjan MBE and their team.

Total amount raised: £12,000
Boot Out Breast Cancer: £4,000
Fort Alice: £4,000
Homeless Aid UK: £4,000

As tradition dictates, the team also fed the homeless in memory of Pravin’s dearly departed brother.
Thank you to everyone for donating and for helping all the charities.
